Anyone know Joe Cipolla?

I thought this was sort of interesting. We've had dedicated troll hunters on AT and before that AGN for a long time and it seems as if the car guys are making such a big deal over discovering how to deal with them.

It's a fun read anyway.

Anyone know Joe Cipolla?

" Anyone know Joe Cipolla?
This turd ripped me off! No parts, no refund, all excuses. Do not do business with this guy."

<< This turd will never be able to post on a Buick Board without me making his life miserable >>

Ah, the hell that that would be....

<< "Revenge is a dish, best served cold....... It is very cold in space." Kahn >>

Who the hell quotes Star Trek? 😉

<< I had already released the dogs of war prior to our conversation . . . >>

Mmkay

<< This is a war against terrorism. The kind of terrorism where you cannot safely make transactions with other members of the upstanding Buick community >>

CG, I don't know if he is a master but he certainly seemed to do a good job on Joe.

He should learn to be a little more careful in the future about his comments. That could have come back and bit him.

aw crap. i wanted to read it all, but then i noticed there were 14 pages! :Q

i found an amusing quote on page 2 though:

At the request of his family, I gave him one last benefit of the doubt. The deadline has past........

"Cry havoc....... and let slip the dogs of war."

very funny...as I haven't gotten ripped off from him.

I've heard his name pop up too much on forums.

Holy crap I read about 90% of the thread. Some of the people got their money back but it took months. and that thread is popping up on forums all over the place.

I thought it was hilarious though when he said that someone put sugar in his gas tank 😀

There are some good points in that thread.

The most obvious to me was to keep everything documented in a transaction. Keep copies of the money order, and the dates when you sent them. Put all of the e-mails in a seperate folder and it wouldn't hurt to print them out.

Probably 99% of the people trading on the web are honest and not trying to rip anyone off. That other 1% make it more difficult for everyone else.

Just thought I'd bring this to the top. Very interesting read if you're at work or something with nothing else to do. I almost started a thread with a link to this board, I'm glad I searched first so I didn't pull a repost stunt🙂
