Anyone know how to uninstall System Commander?

Unable to load my windows b/c of this crap as I have peculiar partitions where my OS's are. Yet it runs itself before anything else can be done. I took the drive to another comp to delete the dir that Partition Comm was in (which should have had system commander). Still no go. Anyone know how to delete or disable this thing so I can load windows?

Depends on what OS you have. If it's Win9x, get a boot disk for that version and use sys.com on it. If it's WinXP, boot to the CD and use the Recovery Console to fix the master boot record.

Or you may just need to use fdisk to set a particular partition as active, since you deleted the System Commander partition which is probably what was active before.

Thanks.

Had to do a reinstall over that original 98SE install....

Nothing could've prevented this, goddamned bastard programs........
