Anyone know how to reset or unmute a Nokia 3560 cellphone?

I would guess that the phone is somehow muted so that it never rings, or makes any noise and when i call it and try to talk you don't hear anything on the cellphone.

i attempted to already take out the battery for 5 minutes and place it back in on the cellphone and all it does is makes me reset the time, but the mute is still intact, basically the phone is useless without having this disabled on it... anyone care to help?

Mods i wasn't sure where else to place this since its not really a computer problem, feel free to move the thread if its in the wrong spot.

I turned vibrate off and its not doing anything, when i call the phone it recieves the call and does not ring even though the ringer is turned on, the phone does not vibrate either (but thats cuz i just turned off vibrate) all you get is a visual alert on the screen as to whose calling.. the phone does nothing else. I can hear the caller talking to me through my cellphone but when i say something its not heard on the recieving end at all, like my phone is only a listening device.

I took a picture of the little speaker that appeared on my phone when this started to happen and i can't figure out how to stop it...

heres the pic of the LCD whenever the phone is idle with the little speaker icon - I looked in my book for the phone to see if it said what the speaker icon ment and its not even listed as an icon for the phone, at least not in the book..

WooHooOO!!! i fixed it, there was dirt or something stuck in the middle hole at the bottom of the phone, i guess that hole is used for a headset and thats what was wrong it was trying to output everything on the phone to a headset but i didn't have one plugged in.. 🙂
