As said in the title, anyone know how to remove the case screws that's hollow in the middle? I tried the hex shapped screwdrivers, even the smallest one is too big. I really would like to know how to remove it because I don't want to remove all my components when I cut the top side to fit a window in. I'll try to post a pic up later. Thanks.

You probably need a Torx driver. You can get them at Radio Shack or probably Home Depot, maybe even Sears.

I would guess that you are talking about rivets, they have to be drilled out, they are a permanent fastener.

Yep your gonna have to drill them out... but you may wanna make sure that you can correctly put the top back on the case after you drill them out cause once there out your gonna have to find a way to keep the top attached to the case which may pose a problem if where you have to screw and what not effects how the panels go on.. i would suggest just removing everything takes alittle more time but saves just as much hehe

of all the things ive lost.... i miss my mind the most!!!

If they are rivets, why couldn't you just replace them with rivets?

How many people have you seen having a rivet gun and some rivets lying around in their garage?

I finally got the top window in! Yes, it took me 3 hours to get the locking strip in the molding. Now my thumb feels like salami. But anyways, yes, I drilled through those rivets, then I use one of those reverse screws to pull/yank the rivets out. Now my case is noisy as hell from the vibrations. I need to get some nuts and bolts in there. Anyone know the size of the case screws? I think fan screws are 10, but not sure about case screws.
