Anyone know how to make 8 player co-op L4D2 servers?

What's the simplest way to do this? There is a few ways too.

Just wondering as I usually have more than 4 that wanna play L4D2. In the past we have played on servers that offer it but the ping was a bit high.

In the console you can type in openserverbrowser and click on custom then sort by players then under tags type in increased and look for servers with the tags of coop and increased players. You can find some 8-16 player servers.

It's more for goofing off than serious play throughs. Just set the game on expert and go nuts. 😛

isn't that overwhelmingly in favor of survivors? Not trying to say it's a dumb idea (think it'd be great fun) but 4 people can already handle mobs + special infected, 8 survivors is just kind of overkill.
 
It would be for fun, so difficulty isn't important.

Anyone have a link? I've tried to find a working one for L4D2 but have had no luck.

I was talking about 8 player co-op. You can find servers like that if you ever used the hidden server browser.

It's pretty zany. 😀

Yep, it gets crazy. I played 16 a side and it was nuts. Almost too nuts. :hmm:
