House centipedes are the f*cking scariest things I have ever seen in person.

Friend is terrified of them, I'm sorta 'meh'... Spiders really get me though, the big furry wolf spiders in my area absolutely terrify me. I could never live in a place where anything bigger is common, it's a real phobia of mine. Luckily the centipedes seem more common here

Newp, House Centipede. Bout what I'm used to seeing around here, 2" long at the biggest, though the one in the pic looks silvery while the ones I've seen are more brown. And these, about 2" across, are the spidies I'm talking about, blech *makes a face*

Yeah we have them here on Long Island too from time to time. They are pretty nasty things but seem pretty harmless.

Never seen silverfish here on LI, but I saw them all the time when I lived in Buffalo (was summertime). We do get plenty of those earwigs in this area though.
