Anyone know how to get shoe polish off a coffee table?

It's kinda weird how it happened. Just left the can of shoe polish there and it somehow melted through the can onto the table.

Anyone know how I could go about getting it off?

If the table has some kind of finish on it like varnish or lacquer, a spot of varsol should remove it. If the table is unfinshed wood...you're fscked...😉

Is it wood, or glass?

If glass, Goo Gone will take it off.

Dunno what it will do to wood though.

Just use some cheap Shaving Cream (not gel) don't know what it will do to the table though....

Just rub it on or use a cloth?
