Anyone know how to connect a TV to a projector?

Anyone know how to connect a TV to a projector? Tried a standard a/v cable just connecting the video (yellow) - didn't work. No Signal reported by the projector

Try connecting th PJ to a device with outputs, such as a cable box, VDR, or DVD player. You're trying to connect two display devices together. Most TV's don't have video out.

might have to use a cable box...havent seen a tv with tv out.

What are you trying to do? If you want a source to show on both devices at the same time, then you need to duplicate the source.

If you tried to connect it to your tv, I don't think you're ready for a projector.

Coax Cable (the one that comes out of the wall) -> VCR, yes a VCR. VCR's are cheap TV tuners -> Composite (yellow) or S-Video Cable (single black cable) into projector.


BTW projectors kick a$$.

Why would you connect a TV to a projector? Are you trying to use the TV's tuner to input into the PJ? I doubt you can do that.
