search for oxygen phone manager. Its a great software. Install the symbian version if your phone has a symbian OS (DUH!!)

Ended up finding GPRS :)

Unfortunately still have one other problem.

The phone is plugged in, but it's hooked up to a USB port. And the only options for ports in the program are COM 1, and COM 3. It says something about going into system in order to set the cable as COM1 to make it work. Anyone know how to go about doing this? I went into the device manager and it doesn't show anything that I can do in this regard.

This IS ALWAYS a pain. Keep trying it will work out somehow. :) ...thats why PDA phones rock!

Have you tried both Com1 and Com3?

I didn't have to fiddle with the device manager, I just kept trying the options until it found a phone. (Mine works on COM3 by default)

Ahh :( Turns out it isn't working. Com 3 mad eit pull up a box and all that, but itstill doesn't recognize my phone. For instane, when I try to import a melody, it shows an area at the bottom to select the phone to trasnfer to, and my phone isn't listed there (no phone is, it just says add.)

Add melody dialog

That is what ithe add melody dialog should look like.

The "[ADD]" at the bottom is an index into your custom ringtones. If it says "[ADD]" it is adding it to the list, if you have custom ringtones already added, you can select one to replace.

Just click "Upload" and it'll go.

Also if your phone can use Polyphonic ringtones, let me know, I have ~3000.
