What are the demographics of the 7000 block of S Normal Blvd?

It seems someone I know is the victim of identity theft and I am trying to figure out if it is likely an illegal immigrant using their SS# to find work.

Someone I know=The OP

haha - no, a relative can't file her tax return because someone already did using her name and SS# at that address.

Based on it being "Little Myanmar" and the fact that a house a couple of doors down sold for $23k recently, I am going to invoke Occam's Razor and assume there is a little asian lady using that SS# to work a W-2 job. A halfway decent one it seems as she made over $72k last year according to her tax return.

My assumption is based on who typically steals SS# and uses them to work. If this was an upscale neighborhood, I would be more worried as the extent of the identity theft might be worse. If this is a poor ethnic neighborhood with a large illegal population, I shall rightly invoke Occam's Razor as to the nature of the fraud.

Englewood is the worst neighborhood in Chicago. it's ~99% black and incredibly poor. There are a ton of murders per capita every year and the high schools in the area have an incredibly high teen pregnancy rate.

But hey, the housing is cheap right?
