I am a member of a network for a company I no longer work for on Facebook. I want to remove the network from my account, and from what I have researched it can be done in 2 ways:

Go to the network's page, and click "Leave Network"
Go to Account Settings, click Networks, and remove the network

well, I can't find the network's page on FB, and if I click Networks I only get a radio button to select my primary network, no option to remove the network. Any ideas?

You cannot drop to zero primary networks.

add another network (ie your university network), then delete your old work network.

Derp, Joe.

Add another network.

Remove the first one.

Problem solved.

If you're part of only one network, you must find a replacement for that network. Facebook doesn't like removing networks when it leaves 0 as a result.

I don't want to add another one! Besides, don't you have to have an @whatever.com email address to join networks?

Create one. Register a bullshit domain if you have to.

Plain and simple, you can't remove a network if it will leave you with zero networks.

hah, funny thing is I think they got rid of networks a while back!

"You can’t automatically create networks, but you can ask Facebook to make one for you.

Once you log into Facebook, go to Networks -> Browse All Networks, then scroll all the way down to the bottom and click on "Is your network not supported? Suggest a new network." Make sure to pick "Work" as the network type."

ok, where is the Networks -> Browse All Networks option?

They got rid of city pages, where you could search for people based on gender, age, location, etc. That was actually somewhat useful. Especially for stalking victims.

I don't know.

I wasn't dumb enough to join a network. ;)
