Avoid anything from about Silver Spring(North) to Oaklahoma(South) as North South lines and anything from 1st(East) to about 60th(West). That is the Downtown area, industrial area, ghetto's, etc. There are several nice houses in there, don't get me wrong, but that seems to be about where the problems usually are.

Honestly if moving to the area, you should stay our of Milwaukee County. Waukesha is much better, has lower taxes, and is all around a better place to live. But defintely don't likve in the CITY of Milwaukee... Head to a suburb.

Im really trying to stay close to 94 as that is my main shot down to I-88 and Lisle, IL

Seems like everything is about 5 blocks from 94 in the milwaukee area. Wauwatosa is a good area. And if I'm not mistaken it has easy access to PF Chang's and a CheeseCake Factory.

If you are looking at I94 look into Racine too. About 30 minutes or so South of Milwaukee. Cudhay, Wauwautosa, West Allis, etc. are all pretty decent. As stated above for lower taxes, etc. stay out of Milwaukee County.
