Anyone know anything about Max Theater

For the most part I think it is stupid. But it isnt very much money and it would be a fun experiment cause it might actually be decent. It just magifies the image is all. The actual process seems rather clunky and it probably wont be very good image quality. Brightness would be another considertion. I have wondered about these myself for awhile. But my tv is big enough already.
 
It's a scam. I've seen this, or a very similar device, reviewed, and it's crap. A regular TV isn't bright enough to have it's image expanded that much, unless you are okay with a dim image that you can only really see in an entirely dark room.

You just don't get something for nothing.
