We have an HP Jornada 540 series at work. I know that PocketPC 2002 will not work on the Jornada. What is the lates OS for the Jornada?

I bought a 540 several years ago when they first came out. There was a class-action lawsuit against HP because they promised true color support on the display but couldn't ever make it happen. If you haven't heard about it already, HP offered to buy these back (well, it was part of the settlement) for the original purchase price. I swapped my 540 & memory upgrade out & used the money for an iPAQ 3650. (And it does support PC2002). I don't know if it's too late but you should probably look into getting this back to HP.
 
Ya, none of HPs models are upgradeable. If you plan on getting a newer jornada (560 series) make sure you get a serial number that says "SG149XXXXX" or later. Earlier serial numbers suffer from a dust issue on the screen and it'll be a serious pain getting it fixed. Trust me on this one.

As far as Jornadas, I know pretty much everything about them. I did support with HP for them a while ago.
