My cats kittens are getting sick. I she moved them to a box in my garage, then i found one dead in the corner of the box. I moved the box so i could see them. A week later one started acting 'slow' and was cold and away from the bunch. So i hand feed it for 2 days now i come home from work and its dead. And now another one, the biggest, fattest one is now skinny and cold and barely alive. :( Its so sad.

Do you think the the cats have a disease they are spreading??? I dont know what to do.

You should start bottle feeding the rest of them. If you can, get the mother away from them while you feed them infant formula.

You should have the mother checked. Her milk may have gone bad.
(this happened to my friend's dog/puppies)

Is this her first litter? I've had many cats that have lost all the kitten in the first litters. Generally they would have three and all of them would eventually die before they were six weeks old. The next litters would be fine.

She might have run out of milk or something is wrong with it. Could be something else though.

Its her first liter. She had 6. Now 4, but i Know one more is going to die.

She was one of those give away kitties when i got her. She about a year old now, i think.

Think i should separate the sick one and feed it 'formula"? Like baby formula?

Whatever you do about the kittens, make sure you get that cat fixed before she has another litter.

Because the guys on ATOT touch themselves at night.

You should go set a Vet.

Yes, separate the sick one and start feeding it baby formula. Watch the others in case they too get sick. I highly recommend changing all their bedding, litterbox, water bowls, food bowls, etc. Check the are for contaminants as well. It may be disentary, could be something like salmonella(sp?). Could even be carbon monoxide poisoning, which is very likely given that they're in a garage. The little guys could be eating used motor oil or something.

Umm, and you haven't called a VET why???? Honestly, if you were a responsible pet owner, the cat would've been fixed by now. Has she at least had her shots??

They taste great fried up smothered in general tsos sauce and served with fried rice.

Take them to the vet? That'd be my first action.

If you really want to seperate them from their mother, pick up some feline baby formula from your local pet store. Make sure they stay plenty warm and keep them out of anti-freeze and whatever else they may be finding in the garage.

They sell kitten formula at pet supply stores, if I'm not mistaken.

How do the other three kittens look? Are they nice, warm, and playful? How old are they?
