Anyone know any quick vegan food recipes?

I am looking for something a bit more complicated then just eating raw foods. Anyone have any quick recipes?

Thanks.

I am running out of ideas.

I'm not vegan, but I eat vegetarian meals all the time. Its quite easy. Try making ratatouille.

Steak tartare

oh wait, you said you were tired of raw foods...

how about a nice medium-rare porterhouse steak...just dripping in bloody juices...m-mm-mmm-mmmm!

Vegan spaghetti is very easy to make and 95% as good as its meaty brother.

Or you could saute up some mushrooms and garlic, and throw in some sliced tomatoes towards the end. Then deglaze the pan with wine or soy sauce and pour the contents over some steamed rice.

Piping hot Italian bread with marinara and Smart Balance Vegan butter is awesome.

Did you have something specific in mind? I have a ton of vegan recipes.

im sure you have a cardboard box someplace close, just put some salt on it, basicially the same expirence

tater tot nachos are good. cook up some tater tots, add black beans, salsa, peppers, onions, whatever stuff you would put on nachos. i add cheese, but you could leave it off. beans and rice is good too, saute garlic and onions in olive oil for a bit, then add can of black beans undrained, can or fresh diced tomatoes, diced hot peppers, cook for a few min. then add enough instant rice to soak up all the liquid. cook till rice is done.

Shhh, odin. Don't take people to task on this. It's ok to bend the rules when it comes to wearing clothes, driving a car and otherwise enjoying consumerist society!! It's OK to be a hypocrite when you're a vegan.

Hmm ... Vegetarian chili isn't bad. It's of course much better with Beef, or even Turkey, but as long as it's spicy, vegetarian chili is tasty.

I'm pretty sure a Prius is vegan anyway.

You're referring to a level 4 vegan; the O.P. is only a level 2 vegan.

How did I know this thread would be full of retarded responses.

I don't know too many "quick" recipes, but there are A LOT of ethnic dishes that are vegetarian/vegan. The fact that people think the only possible meal without meat is salad or veggies, LOL.

Try making your own homemade falafel, hummus, babaganouge, or taboulleh.

Red curry is pretty simple, just need curry, coconut milk, brown sugar, veggies, and rice.

Lots of Indian dishes.

Tomato and avocado sandwiches with some veganaise on sprouted bread, so good.

All sorts of stir frys.

Burritos with tofu or tempeh.

I say enjoy meat while you can before the LHC creates a black hole which emits stranglets, causing vacuum bubbles to generate magnetic monopoles and everything in the universe is destroyed.

And red curry kicks ass .....

That said .... I put chicken in my curry, or I have egg curry ... and usually, I have shish, kifta, shawarma, or chicken whenever I have falafel....

I also usually put chicken in my curry.....but all that stuff is easily modifiable to be veggie/vegan.
