Anyone know any COMMUNITY software?

I am getting frustrated of moving around community website. First ecircle got down due to financial problem. Now Communityzero are starting to charge us. I shifted to circle99 and its awefully slow.

suddenly wondering would there be a possibility for me to run my own personal (end user) community website. Which means i just buy webspace and runs the whole SOFTWARE myself.

Any ideas? comments?

I dunno about geocities forum.

Its something like a place that your friends can keep contact. Share pictures.. chat.. post messages.

Check communityzero out, it should answer u clearly what it is.
