I have a dell with a p2 450 in it and was wondering if there was anything i could get to overclock it so i could get my keyrate up a little.

Yeah, a program called SoftFSB could allow it, but it is written to work only with certain programmable clock generators on some motherboards, it is not an all purpose tool.

It is on the same site as the guys who publish that WCPUID program, or at least it was.

That doesn't sound too good. Anyway I think I tried a really early version of that a long time ago and it didn't work.

Well thanks anyway.

Fingers, I have tried and tried and tried to use FSB on Dells. They do not use programmable clock generators. I've looked up their model numbers, tried a few random ones. Always either locked up or just ignored me. I gave up.

intel boards don't overclock.

holy crap it worked!

hmmm... my system won't do 124... dang...

just tried those. Couldn't get them to work. any other programs you might be able to think of or websites i could seach to find something.

Wow, you and I have the same computer Fingers.. BUT... I have looked into overclocking this junk but I dont think you can. Stupid intel mobos and their locks.
