Anyone know a good free program to test speed of your computer

my computer is running slower then i expected when using a new program i got and i was wondering if anyone knew of a performance program that would test all aspects of a computer and its memory to check if it is running at its full ability.

An evaluation or trialware copy of Sisoft Sandra could tell you; Memtest86 tells you your memory/cpu speed but not much else. I'm sure there's others.
