Anyone into DCI Corps??

I'm listening to some Blue Devils MP3's I have... love DCI cadences. Wondering if anyone else here is into DCI, and if so who's your favorite corps?

Used to be in one long ago. Caught the DCI nationals about two years ago on TV. A lot has changed with the rules. A lot of people used to listen to Phantom Regiment (Rockford Ill), Santa Clara Vanguard (CA) and The Bridgemen (NJ). That's going way back. I know a lot of stuff used to be drawn from Chick Corea, so if you like what you hear, you might want to pick up some of his albums.

I got pretty good at snare at one point. Tried out and was better than half of the line, but they said i couldn't read music well enough. Oh well I'm pretty impressed that in 3 motnhs I became better than half the line (and I had no musical background). I know Santa Clara is still really popular but I'm not too sure about the other two.

DCI = Drum Corps International....

I figured not many people would know what I'm talking about, but oh well. These people are the best of the best wen it comes to drumline, and all their stuff is freakin awesome. If you want to pull up whatever file sharing you use, here's a couple good songs to check out:

I love DCI. My drumline in high school used to do a lot of Blue Devils warmups and breaks. Their shows are killer, too.
