Why write on any one particular site?

The fact is that at least the guy is creating a site for professionals to consort too.

I contribute information to brianmadden almost every week, and I will be at the BriForum in Chicago, but I already gave a message to lucas123 and said I would be happy to contribute my information.

Every IT professional has been in situations that they have been thrown into with no preparation and found the "holy grail" article on the internet that saved there day and gave them the pat on there back by there peers/management. If I can give one person out there that pat on the back through my hard earned experience, it's worth it.

Instead of yelling at the guy, at least give him credit where it is due, that he is making a site where people can collaborate.

Is it the first site to do this? Absolutely not. Do we need more sites with this type of collaboration and user support? Absolutely. Do we need more individuals whom are willing to create this environment and individuals whom are willing to contribute. Yes.

You wouldn't write for me or my site. You would write for yourself - your article represents you in the first place, then the site. But it is your product and sky is the limit. To me a great reward is when someone says: "Hey - your art helped me out, good job" - it feels nice when this happens and that is why I'm still doing it. I also read many other websites and leave my feedback on other's work - they really appreciate it.

What will make it better? I bet on people. People make it better. People who can write in interesting way, write about something that many user's are searching for or want to know. If you accomplish that, it makes it better.

I personally really liked recent article here on NewEgg warehouse - which I was proudly promoting everywhere.

It is obvious that sometimes you face harsh criticism, you can't compare to other sites that were built years ago and have been establishing position before you even knew they existed. But here they are today - doing just fine.

While I have been writing this post I've noticed couple new responses and I must say:

multiband8303 - WOW - I couldn't put it in better words. If I could I would buy you a beer now . Thank you for your support.

The layout isn't bad - except for the HUGE header...and the header graphcis are terrible.
