Memory foam is not good for your back. Try a real bed. You could also probably benefit from some exercise that works out your back.

I started having back pain in my late 20's. The best the doctor could come up with was that it was caused by hours of playing tennis every day on asphalt courts for several years.

After trying several different things I found some that work well. When I go to bed at night I lay on my side and pull my knees up to my chest. I usually fall asleep that way and if I wake up during the night in another position I go back to that one. Then in the morning before I get up I do that and then turn onto my stomach with my knees pulled up to my stomach, extend my arms forward and then stetch my upper body forward. Then I take turns extending each leg back and pushing each foot forward to stretch my calves and the backs of my thighs. If I don't do this I have a stiff back when I get up. I also do crunches on an incline to keep my stomach muscles strong. The earlier poster who said that strong abdominals are good for your back is absolutely right. Makes a big difference.
