Anyone in the Fresno area?

Looking for a good steakhouse to take the wife for her b-day next month. Just trying to plan ahead. Can't really afford anything too extravagant, maybe around $100ish. I already got her tickets to the Cirque du Soleil show for the 9th, now just need to make dinner reservations.

If no one's from Fresno, I was taking a look at either Fleming's or Ruth's Chris. Anyoen been to either and have recommendations?

OK, not really. IMO, TJ's sucks. (it's not that the food is BAD, it's that their menu is so limited...and for the price, there are much better places to eat)

I'm not in Frezburg...about 1-1/2 hours north...but there are several members here who are from the area.

I'm about an hour north so I'm not too familiar. I googled a place called Yosemite Ranch which looks to be pretty good and decent prices. It's a bit more of a Tahoe Joe's which price wise would fit the bill, but still open to suggestions.

I've eaten there a few times. Great food. There's also Fleming's and Ruth's Chris. They're a la carte pricing though.

Also there are: Yosemite Ranch, Max's and Manhattan Steakhouse.

I think Flemings is over priced for what you get. If you are going to pay that much I think Ruth's Chris is a better overall steak.

lol yea I'm not very fond of Fresno. I pretty much grew up here in the valley, went to college then came back because I wanted to raise my family here. Boy has it changed since then. I'm waiting for my stepson to graduate high school and then my family is relocating. Prob to the Bay Area where my family is or the Roseville/Sac area.
