Hey Everyone,

Hope you're doing well. I'm looking to start up an insurance agency and just wanted to see if you could help me out. I'd be happy to give you a free quote for car insurance... Just post if you're interested and i'll PM you some info. I could probably save you some money.

Thanks!

ah what the heck not.

23 year old female, LA. 98 honda civic.

one accident, NOT at fault, but that should be off my "record" in july since it happened nearly 3 years ago. perfect driving record otherwise.

i prefer full coverage, non insured driving, and rental car coverage. play with the deductibles.

edit: up for renewal in july.

22 yr old male, Sacramento, 95 toyota camry 4-door sedan w/ alarm, the club

perfect record, driving >4 yrs, no moving or traffic violations.

currently paying $1,200 a year but I feel that's too much.

i prefer minimum everything, unless you have a recommendation (i.e. uninsured motorist)

geckojohn - I would be very careful about soliciting customers in public forums for Auto Insurance quotes. In most states (including the one you live in), certain disclosures which must be made prior to providing such quotes. While you may be contemplating, or in the process of establishing an insurance brokerage, the fact that you are providing quotes to the public in advance of finishing the licensing process can be used to demonstrate that you are, in effect, operating an unlicensed insurance brokerage.

My bad.

When I read your OP you mentioned that you were "looking to start up an insurance agency". Because you didn't provide any additional info stating that you were underwritten or licensed, etc., I simply assumed that you weren't.

I didn't mean to crap your thread. As long as the mods are cool with it, I have no problem with it... :)

What do you think? If you're still interested, i'm fine with this thread staying... if not, then we can lock it.
