Dear Valued Clients,

Flake and Epoch are currently being DDoS, with more than 300Mbit/s of inbound
traffic.

DC has unplugged our servers to perform IP filtering and we are trying to get it
resolved ASAP.

Please note that we have received DDoSless for more than a year and we are
clueless what have happened, however, technical team will look into it as soon
as we get to it.

Thank You.

UU has so many problems. They're constantly dealing with "security" issues with cPanel that cause them to reinstall it or recompile Apache or some other bullsh|t. It's REALLY starting to piss me the fvck off. :|

Uhh... hehe, I hope that wasn't cause of me :frown:

I asked for PHP IMAP to be setup, maybe they had the recompile scheduled because of it's problem already, but if they didn't, that was because of me... heh Was it just about a week ago? I hope it wasn't

I've been problem free with them though, I think they're pretty good

They were down momentarily last night (due to a DDOS attack) but came back up.

I really like the Reseller account, with CPanel and Fantastico. Always get prompt replies from support. Although I experienced a similar issue for several weeks, the cpanel kept being taken offline when I needed in it. They had to because of similar problems with cpanel, but I didn't get the email because I was using an address I wasn't checking. I'd rather they keep doing that than just leave the security problems untouched. As long as the sites themselves stay up I'm happy.

You'd think they'd move away from such a buggy, security-hole-ridden control panel like cPanel, wouldn't you? I mean, I LOVE cPanel and Fantastico. Fantastico is the fvckin coolest thing I've ever seen. However, I've had so many little issues with them that I'm reconsidering whether my reseller's account is really worth it or not. And, with the way they've effed up my account, I can't easily add any domains to my hosting. I have to send them an email and WAIT for them to so kindly set it up on their end instead of doing it myself in, say, 2 bloody seconds. :| WTF is the point of a reseller's account if you have to jump through hoops to actually RESELL anything!?

Heh, no matter the case, I don't think using the word "clueless" in a note to customers was such a good idea. Also, "as soon as we get to it" is not good enough for paying customers.

I've had a few email conversations with Wong Meng himself. The guy knows just as much about hosting administration as I do about nuclear physics. He's a nice guy and all, but that don't count for sh|t.

I have been happy with my account so far -
Thanks for the recommendation, RossMan .

You really shouldn't have to email them and have them set it up for you. I've never had to do that.

No sh|t. It has to do with them requiring me to change the DNS server IPs with my domain registrar. Who the fvck changes IPs with their domain registrar instead of changing DNS server names? That's the whole point of DNS, and that ain't my job... I finally got it through Wong's thick skull that I couldn't change any IP, just the DNS name, so they "changed the IP on their end" or whatever the hell... Now I have to send a request for adding a domain to my reseller's account and someone has to do it manually or it won't work.

 :|

I was seriously speechless when he told me I had to change the IP addresses registered with my domain registrar.

I also  DirectAdmin which I am using with my DotSimple.com resellers account :p

1GB/20GB for $5/mo, not bad.

I know (kinda figured you were just kidding). They used to, AFAIK they only offer cPanel currently.
