Fixed link.

As long as you are careful not to pinch any wires or strain the motherboard (in other words, as long as the wires can move freely) you should be fine. Seems like it could be a huge PITA if you ever need to move a cable.

I'm pretty sure in the pics you see of the guys who look like they have no wires in their system, they are hiding some of them under the motherboard or at least under the tray.

It's all insulated (shrugs). I guess in some wierd cases that the field created by electricity running through a wire could interact with the motherboard but I highly doubt it.

Certainly worth a try but like a previous poster said, if you ever need to re-arrange things, could be a pain in the ass. I'd say make sure everything is how you want and then give it a go.

Look into the latest Antec cases. I'm not sure about the Nine Hundred or similar, but the P180B / P182 cases have room for you to route wires on the other side of the motherboard. It's great.

Most new well built cases have good cable management systems these days. I just bought the Coolermaster Cosmos and it's great.

Do it all the time, have no EMF issues whatsoever. Just do as suggested above and ensure the wires/cables don't get pinched by any solder pins sticking out the underside of the mobo. I actually tape my wires to the mobo so I can ensure they are routed as I want them to. Again no EMF issues, have fun!
