My mom just got one and since i don't have one i'm not much use helping her over the phone...

Is it possible to store multiple numbers per contact? (such as Dad: Mobile, Home, Work)

If so, how?

Yeah, change the little icon on entry details to whatever. You'll have to have it stored to the phone rather than to the SIM card. You can have the listing show both entries or just one entry and you press left/right to change between the two. I suggest you get p2kman and change the builtin them since for some reason i thought they were really ugly. There's a KDE theme that looks really spiffy and easy on the eyes. PLus you can upload your own wallpapers and mp3 ringtones

She's still having trouble for some reason...

She said she went into he contact (stored on her phone), hit edit and added a 2nd number. Yet when she did that, it came up as a completely seperate contact.... Hmmm...

How does she actually take a contact (me for instance) and add that second number under the same name? (she's been hitting edit, then adding it)

yeah she can. If she goes to edit teh entry, scrolls all the way down, theres a MORE selection. Then she can store a new number under the same name. If she presses the middle button while in the main address book, she can scroll down to Phonebook setup. if she selects only show Primary contact, only 1 number will appear for each name and that'll be the Primary address. hope that helps

Ya, she is storing it to the sim insted of to the phone. Keep telling her that until she realizes how to fix it.

damn, I have had this phone for a few months and thought you could not store multiple numbers under the same name. Guess I need to read the booklet, but I guess I didn't care that much. Thanks for the info
