Ok, I just got done watching the episode "Countermeasures" and I have NO fucking idea what the whole point of the coin in the episode is.

At the end, he says something like "you planted the coin to tell him where to find me" or something...WTF?

Any explanations would be much appreciated, I'm pretty annoyed. I feel like I'm a retard.
 
I enjoy the show but have no idea what op is talking about. i don't recall that episode which season episode is it?
 
i think you misheard what he said. i watched it again and he said "you gave me the coin with Ganz's print on it, told him where to find me."

he wasn't saying that the coin told Ganz where to find Neal, he was saying that Ford told Ganz where to find Neal.
 
Ah, gotcha, thank you sir. What was the whole point of the coin in the end, though? To get the FBI involved and screw the other guy (ganz) and get away with the money?
