Instead of paying $1800 once to buy the laptop, you pay $151 per for 12 months. It's as simple as that. If you are approved for the Amazon card it looks like you don't have to pay any interest on this particular purchase.I was thinking of getting a Amazon Visa so I can get the gaming laptop below for $151 for 12 months.
Im just not sure how it works, I never financed anything before.
Would it be better to just buy the laptop with a regular credit card from Bank of America?
But it's a GAMING laptop! :rollseyes:That laptop is a horrible value, do not want.
Also, most people that want to game should probably just avoid "gaming laptops" in the first place. Better off buying a desktop - lots of budget gaming plans available with PCPartPicker.$1821 for a laptop with a two year old CPU? Who cares if one credit card saves you a few dollars over the other credit card. You are getting royally screwed from the start price.
I agree. Such worse performance and higher price, just to sit at a different location when gaming (in a position which is likely awkward and tiring). Also, most people that want to game should probably just avoid "gaming laptops" in the first place. He is on social assistance...The Amazon Visa offers a 1 year warranty extension IIRC, dunno if your BoA card offers the same. Do you have a good enough credit score to believe you'll be approved a $2,000 credit limit?

Cheapest is often the worst choice for just about anything. It is basically a guaranteed ripoff. The laptop I posted is the cheapest I can find with a RTX 4080, which is the cheapest laptop GPU with PS5Pro performance.
Things that are not going to happen!...and pay it off immediately...
The question is, do you need a mobile RTX 4080, or would you be better suited with a cheaper desktop rig that you could also upgrade in the future as your needs evolve? What are your needs (eg, what games, what screen resolution, what frame rate) and what is your budget? The laptop I posted is the cheapest I can find with a RTX 4080, which is the cheapest laptop GPU with PS5Pro performance.
Case in point, similar laptop with more cores and faster speeds for each core at $1699. Still has the RTX 4080. Took less than a minute to find.Poor people don't get new laptops. They go to the pawnshop and get what they can afford.

I'm not laboring under the impression that he's going to make a wise decision based on the input of ATOT, based on previous patterns. He is on social assistance...
Especially if you're on any type of public assistance like the OP, which Republicans want to ax.I would be saving all the money you can right now instead of spending. The economy is going to shit.
