Meh. The few times I've tried vapes they were significantly less than stellar. There's just no replacing a good solid glass piece.

I think it just depends on how much you smoke. If you only smoke once in a while a vaporizer is pointless.

depends.. I'm athletic. I race bikes and run and don't want to smoke anything. Overall, it's a far less harmful and more effective delivery method.

That is my whole reasoning...I am athletic and I love using glass pieces, especially epic "water pipes"...but I feel that the vape is going to be a much healthier choice, with the only other alternative is baking it, which is a lot of work :p :p and I don't need sweets.

Baking it isn't efficient, I don't think. You have to use a LOT to cook.

I've been using a Vapor Bros. for about a year. Big thumbs up. Much less harsh on my lungs.

A friend of mine has a volcano. Holy shit, is it nice.

Eventually, I want to get a Vriptech and bong combo $330 on their online store (just gogle Vriptech). I used their precursor model at a NORML conference, which involved a high quality, ceramic tipped heat gun and bong attachment. This is THE BEST MJ EXPERIENCE EVER when ice is put in the bong and high grade "blend" is used. The vapor is rehydrated and cooled by the ice and tastes WONDERFUL.

I'm going to buy a cheap hotbox/whip on ebay soon for ~$50.

I've read about people doing it, but I doubt it's the same. Google their site and look at all the options. The heat wand itself is $200, and then you can buy a bong attachment (basically a slide and bowl that fits the wand). I don't own a nice glass bong, just a crappy acrylic one, so I'm going to just get the combo one.

I don't puff anymore, but I agree that a vape is probably worth it. Lots of crap in smoke that you don't want.

honestly, not a big fan. i found that it lost its effectiveness when used all the time. volcanos are pretty cool for the "bust it out at a party" factor.

im with nik on this one, nothing replaces a nice glass piece.

At home I always used a glass bong, myself. On the go I had a small machined stainless steel pipe called a Fishbone.

Those metal pipes are awful on my throat... D:

My glass water pipe is all cleaned up and ready to rock...I wish you could "taste" the herb better...thats what I really dig about the vape, too...

Save up for the volcano. It will pay for itself in the long run just in mileage, and the service and quality control is incomparable.

i prefer vaporizer to glass piece nowadays, simply b/c of the clean factor.

though, a bubbler above a regular glass piece is still a better smoke, I'd say.

if you go vaporaizer, get ceramic filament, not that junk aluminum shit that you find with the shitty volcano vaporizers.

The Vriptech is the best in this regards. The filament is ceramic, but it's encased in glass :)
