Anyone here upgraded from a 6800 GT to an Ultra ?

I know the benches dont show a huge difference between these cards but I wonder how the game play improved for those of you that upgraded from a GT to an Ultra?


 
Game play kicks ass on my GT its better than anything I have ever owned by heaps....BUT its an eVGA and eVGA has the Step-up program ..basically I get the full purchase price of my 6800 GT to be put towards an Ultra.

I just got the confirmation email yesterday so I am going for it...my GT cost was $405 so $500 - $405 is $95 + $15 for second day air shipping = $110 to upgrade.


I signed up for an EE version a long time ago but at the slow rate they are coming out I dont think I can wait.

BTW my GT will only do ~400 on the core and 1150 on the ram.. I am looking forward to having a 425mhz stock core and 1100 mhz stock ddr 3 ram.

Hey I only get a year warranty ...might as well take advantage of the benefits available. 🙂
