The biggest issue with dairy is not dairy itself but the way cows are raised. Grass fed cows are loaded with omega 3's and fat soluble vitamins whilst conventional cows are loaded with pesticides from the feed and hormones.

Fat stores either poisons or vitamins. Or both.

We may need more nuclear cows these days, start a herd in Chernobyl for radiation resistance.

;)

Yeah I think here in Canada dairy is much more regulated so not sure if they get any hormones or anything like that but I hear they do all sorts of crazy stuff in the states. Not looking forward to the TPP as all that stuff will come here too as trade will trump local regulations. And whatever other crazy stuff places like China do. It will push local dairy out the door just like how you don't see local manufacturing anymore so we won't have a choice. I generally don't eat a lot of dairy though. In fact I think I'm becoming less tolerant of it, if I eat too much in one sitting I get cramps.

China is ridiculous. I've been there and when I got there I developed a strange rash on my neck that was no doubt caused by pollution. Also got excema.

We were told to absolutely not drink the milk or the tap water. The place is a cesspool ever since industrialization.

But I tend to fall in the "Everything in moderation" group. Have poutine on one day, and ice cream on the other. Maybe try to have a banana (split) on another.

When it comes to ice cream I prefer to view moderation as only one scoop per day.

Never heard of this. I think it's great you can buy a funnel cake somewhere other than a fair.

However, who goes to Dairy Queen for anything but ice cream? I traditionally get the strawberry cheesequake Blizzard.

Me. I rarely get ice cream/dessert there.
