Anyone here study Sanskrit?

I would like to get into it...i wanted some advice on it. I know many people go into the other classics greek and latin, but you dont really here much about sanskrit

I studied it for 8 years when I was at school.

Its gonna be real hard if you dont know hindi. The grammatical rules are almost like programming syntax. Sandhi will be more difficult.

My suggestion is to pick a sanskrit text-book used by Indian schools.

Sanskrit is not dead. It is not spoken now but it is used in all hindu rituals. There are many who understand a sanskrit sloka if it is recited to them.

port chester university. the scene i quoted is these kids are trying to kill this high school senior visiting the school because he unplugged their power source while they were writing their thesis. so in order to smooth things over, the main character is giving these kids pre-written thesis that have gotten good grades previously to smooth things over.

1) you know to much about that movie
2) your description kind of kills the humor
3) My oldest DAUGHTER is named Satya (or Sathya) for the yogic veda, other than that and having read translations of the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita, I know nothing about Sanskrit.
