LOL I was using Windows 98 till I got so pissed off with it crashing I couldnt stand it anymore. And now because I cant afford Windows XP PRO yet I got hold of the 30 day trial-version, and I re-install it every month, AAAARRGGGHHH (weeps silently into beer). 😀

ON the Legacy Port Laptop (serial ) I have Win98 SE servicepacked.
I don't plan to upgrade it, just use it as the "legacy" Technology Machine.
This Dektop uses Win2KPro. I still like it very much.
The next machine will have XP, I assume.

Is there a problem?

Haha sorry I was just messing with you. Why were you running Win95 though? Just because you had an old computer or something?

some PC's at work are running 98 because certain development can only be done on these boxes unfortunately.

i myself? no thanks!

The desktops at my house use windows 2000, but our really old laptop uses windows 98m and another one might run it too, soon.

run it on one box at home, Compaq P3-450 that my 4 year old uses to play her old kid games, most of which were designed for win95

I know one of the main differences is that it included internet connection sharing. Main reason I got it.

Most of the users at work are using it. Since I'm in IT I use Win2k.

My mother still uses it.

It's really not *that* bad....it is 5 years old or so...

98 @ WORK?must have very low security needs . I wouldn't load that P.O.S OS on a system where I work at gunpoint...

my dads main pc uses 98SE, his gaming 2000. i use 2000, the SETI rig uses 2000, my mom uses 98SE. we have 3 computers that are used by humans very ofter, 2/3 run 98SE.

I just upgraded to ME a month ago from 98SE. Well it wasn't an upgrade, it was the OEM version of ME. I disabled that infernal System Restore since I have my own backup plan.

Its ok, not different from 98SE as far as I can tell. I may keep it since Microsoft has stopped support on 98SE and will be supporting ME for another year or so. 98SE has always been highly stable for me (and all my builds) so nothing changed there.
