yes to shave. actually, i do that quite often, i ahve huge mounds of hair so it's either the expensive saloon or a skin job. feels horrible on day one, feels like god from day 2 to the first 10 days. then you have to start again.

if you keep doing it every 10~ days you can just do it with a (sponsor incoming) Gillette Fusion (win)

I use 1/16" extension on some clippers. not shave with a razor close, but I don't scare my kids either :)

Shave my head everyday in the shower with a Mach 3 and soap. That's it. And I look fabulous, sexy and aerodynamic!

I used to, but I think that it takes too much time. Now I just clipper cut every two weeks or so.

I shave my head bald about twice a week. It is too hot at work when i have hair. Also stops me from needing to wear a hat.

I wanna know how people shave their faces everyday. I am absolutely miserable with my new clean shaven lifestyle.

I've been thinking about trying the shaved look for a while now and finally did it yesterday. Feels kind of weird, it's gonna take some getting used to. Plus, my scalp is kinda pasty white at the moment so I sort of have the "cancer patient" look going on until it tans a bit. :| Thinking about growing out a beard also to see how that looks.

How often do you guys shave? Use anything on your head after you shave?

I use and recommend headblade head slick shaving cream. I use this with a mach 3 razor every other day in the shower. I tried using lotion after the shower but it feels weird, and I don't really get bad razor burn anyway.

I used to have real long girly faggy hair. It is high maintenance. And annoying.
Shaved it all off about 4 years ago & have kept a shaved head since. Once every week or 2 is about good enough.
I don't miss my long girly faggy hair at all.

I miss my long girly faggy hair, but that's been gone for about 7 years :(

But I don't miss my inlet/ receding hairline. I could still technically grow out my hair on top but I prefer the shaved look vs the balding guy look.

Shaved head looks fine on most people when they're alone but it looks a bit odd when you're in a room or area with a bunch of bald guys.

It also seems most bald guys go for the sporty wrestler or biker look and it just looks silly when you're middle aged and above. The black clothing, exercise attire and jewelry etc.

Been shaving my dome three times a week for the past 10 years. Use a quattro blade, some shaving oil and shaving cream. Also I only shave in the shower. Nice and smooth. I then use some aftershave to keep away the boo-urns. To the person above wanting to learn to use a straight edge, all i can say is good luck. I've slashed the ever living fuck out of both of my ears and various parts of my head using the dinky quattro blades. I fear death or something similar, if I slipped with a straight edge. Those who shave their domes know how bad you bleed when you slice it open up there. I also shave by feel, no mirror. So a straight edge would not work well with me and the blood I'd like to keep.

Three times a week using an Andis BGRC+ with an outliner blade. Its as close as you can get to a razor. Maybe one of the foil wet dry shavers might get closer, but I don't like foil. I use it for my beard as well, as my hair is too thick for razors...it takes two Mach 3s to do my beard. Use Lubriderm Men's 3-in-1 Lotion after washing, as one of the three is an after shave component.

If you are looking for a good entry level clipper, try the Andis T-Outliner. Runs about $50 on Amazon, and there are lots of attachment options.
