I just got done watching that movie and I really enjoyed it. I haven't seen a movie in a long time that actually made me cringe and not want to see what's going to happen next. I love it. Anyone else feel the same about this movie?
I don't believe it sucked. I loved how the "sissy" male character in the movie(I don't know his name, I think it was Shawn from the show Boy Meets World) ended up killing a bunch of people knowing he was soon to be dead himself. Besides that, I haven't seen a horror movie I liked since The Ring came out. I just don't know if I'll ever want to watch this movie again, lol.
We were gonna rent Cabin Fever once, but took the video store clerks advice that it sucked instead.
I hated The Ring. I thought Wrong Turn was good horror movie. I thought it was pretty scary, which I haven't thought about a movie in a long time.
Cabin Fever was the absolute worst movie I have seen in many years.
I have no problem with excessive violence (I loved Kill Bill).
I have no problem with cheesy, stupid slasher movies.
But Cabin Fever simply sucked more than anything has ever sucked before.
If you are looking for a cheesy slasher film with murdering backwood hicks that is actually entertaining, rent Wrong Turn. It's some good mindless fun. Plus you get to see Eliza Dushku in a tight white tank top.
you know the one thing I didn't get is why the guys kept their bet of only drinking beer the whole time they were at the cabin. I mean everyone is dying around them and they think it is a good idea to keep only drink beer...WTF? I also like the seen where the guy bashes the girls roting face in with the shovel when he walked right by a gun and chose to pick up the shovel...WTF?
It wasn't too bad for a thriller... had its moments.
I saw Cold Creek Manor at around the same time and wonder how the fvck someone like Dennis Quaid or Sharon Stone would sign up for crap like that. It was horrendous... the storyline/plot... ridiculous.
Made Cabin Fever look like it was written by a pro.
