Anyone here play pool?

I'm thinking of buying myself a new pool cue. I've had one for over 12 years and it just doesn't fit my needs anymore.

I've been visiting a pool cue site and see a nice pool cue that I'm interested in.

What do you guys think of this pool cue?

I'm thinking getting one at 20oz.

My last one was 18oz and it's too light for me.

never used one, i play with a fury dl series 18oz, and it works well for me

Whenever I would buy a new cue I would ignore the price and name. Pick out about 20 or so that "felt" good in my right hand in terms of weight and balance. Then I would shoot with all of them and pick the one I liked and then look at the price. I also prefer a 20 oz after shooting with a 19 for many years.

what makes the Venom > predator, 3.14, or black dot?

Don't be so pretentious. If you're any good at pool, it doesn't matter what cue you have. I play pool with a friend a few times every week and he can clear the table with any random pool cue at the bar. Unless you're a world class professional, you really won't see any difference between a $20 cue and a $200 cue.
