anyone here own a ferret??

They do smell though... at least I think they do. You have to bathe them alot, but they have this strange smell to them that they secret.
Other than that they are ok

I am pretty sure it is illegal in cali. I own two, and they are high maintenance. They only smell if you wash them too much and don't clean their cage out enough. Clean their litterbox about once a day or every other day and you'll be fine. They do eat a lot, and they do poop a lot. But they are awesome pets. If you dont have like 4 hours a day to let them run around and play with them then I wouldn't consider it. They sleep about 20 hours a day and are pretty active the other 4. Ya know?

Thats true, they do scratch. So make sure that you have a room for them to be in, because if they're in your room and you're trying to sleep, they will keep on scratching. Seriously. They wont stop. But they're soooo cute!

Yeah, do a search, there was pretty good info a little while ago. They're cool, I wish I had a friend who had one. I don't want the hassle of caring for one, but would like to play with one once in a while
