Anyone here live in Alaska?

Living in Alaska would suck for me. There is no way I could deal with 6 months of darkness. Chicago winters are bad enough as is.

Anchorage, I'd say our shortest day in winter. Sun rises around 10:30am and sets around 3:30pm. Right now, sun rises@ 6:37 and sets @ 9:23pm. Days are getting longer. If I remember correctly we're gaining like 5-8 mins of daylight a day until Summer Solstice.
