Anyone here listen to the Black Keys?

Recommended tracks? Man this discography is HUGE. Need to sort the wheat from the chaff.

They are great live.
A lot of their stuff sounds the same, but its good nonetheless.

Sorry, no recommendations. I'm not a huge fan.
They are very popular here in Ohio, so I hear them a lot.

I only expect so much depth from them, being a 2 man band.

They actually have more than you'd expect, kind of like how The White Stripes were.

Seems like they're in every other movie preview these days too.

Rubber Factory is a great place to start, and there are always gems on all of their albums. Their new stuff is getting really samey though...

Sinister Kid/10 Cent Pistol remain 2 of my favorites. I'll share my BK playlist when I get home.

I think I listen to them most of the time my TV is on.

It's unfortunate that I long ago built such vehement hatred for them based on the few songs that companies kept using as shitty ad jingles.

They're actually quite good. I was surprised when a friend was listening to some bluesy, interesting rock music, and I asked what it was, only to be informed that it was the Black Keys. 'That band that makes ad jingles?!'

Marketing people really ruin music.
