They are probably one of the best bands to come out of London's Post-Punk scene. A friend gave me few of their CD's and I can see why they were so popular. Siouxsie has a nice voice.

I like Sick Child (my fav. track), Kiss Them for Me, Israel (live), Arabian Nights, and a few other tracks.

Yes, they are awesome. Saw them live a few years ago and it was a great show.

A live session must have been great. :)

It's amazing how many compliations they are in. If you have the Batman Forever sound track there is a song called 'Passenger'. I believe the original is done by the Siouxsie & The Banshees.

Listening to Peekaboo now. I want to buy The Rapture album but can't find it anywhere online (haven't checked ebay yet). :)

I think Rapture was the tour I saw them on sometime in '95. Haven't listened to that album in a long time, guess I'll have to go dig it out :D

Other than the tracks I mentioned in my first post, I also recommend Swimming Horses, and The Ghost In You.

<<Saw them live over a decade ago>>

Their live tracks sound really good. Too bad they are no more.

You should. :)

<<The song 'Spellbound" was kind of creepy. >>

Not my fav. track but not too bad. :)

<< Don't forget their hit Peekaboo. >>

Freaky, I was listening to Peepshow this morning. Peekaboo is an awesome track to play up loud when planted in front of a good stereo

They did have a different sound. There was no mistaking them for anybody else.

Danny Elfman, now there's a talent. I loved/love Oingo Boingo plus he's gone on to do many, many soundtracks for movies (and the Simpsons)

I almost saw the first lalapalooza, but I was to broke at the time. I'm really upset I didn't go.

Siouxsie and Janes Addiction, Butthole Surfers.... man what a show that would have been. Not that I would have been in any state to remember it anyway. :)

I knew I saw her somewhere. You forgot Nine Inch Nails back before anyone knew who they were, Rollins, and Ice-T and Body Count. I still have that T-shirt. :p

I listen to their CDs often.....their songs are pretty unique.......I like their remake of Beatle's Dear Prudence....and I like Dazzle also....

I'm probably like the only korean in atlanta who listens/knows about this group.....
