Anyone here have Dynaudio Excite x12/x16 speakers?

Honestly, I have not had the chance to find a nice dynaudio dealer in the dc area yet. However, I can't see any reason why either of those x series would be anything but good. Their somewhat low efficiency needs a but more power from an amplifier than other speakers, but that isn't much of a big deal. A nice, carefully calibrated subwoofer would help either of those speakers out in the bass department. What kind of usage would they get? These are generally neutral speakers with a slight extra mid treble depending on your ear height vs tweeter height.
 
Nope, just listened to them one time. Typical Dyn sound (which I love).

Instead of the Excites...you should buy my Contour S1.4 in rosewood. 😀 😉
