It's not only the heights on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge that can be an issue, it's the length - 4 friggin' miles long. I guess about the only thing worse would be the 17 mile bridge/tunnel down by Virginia Beach.

I hate heights. I mean, they really bother me. I avoid them at all costs.

Anything over 10 stories freaks me out, being up in an Airplane doesn't bother me though.

So, would this freaks you out?

That's my brother overlooking a rocky cliff near our cottage.

That's gorgeous. Where is that?

Lion's Head, Ontario, near Tobermory on the Bruce Pennisula, on Georgian Bay.

It is beautiful. There are few bugs, but alot of Americans with money and big boats. The water is too cold for swimming until late July.

If there's a study barrier or something securing me I'm fine, but if it's something I could easily fall off of/tip over then we have a problem.

Same here. Never been afraid of heights, and will actually take advantage of a view from high up. If there were a place to go skydiving by me, I would snatch it right up. I have already done this sky coaster thing from like 300 feet up, and while it doesn't compare to what I believe skydiving would be like, it was fun. I was also on top of my neighbors rook when I was like 12 helping them put their christmas lights up, so I really have never been afraid of going high up.

Yep, it has gotten worse with age. I'm not crazy when it comes to my fear of heights though, meaning I don't get irrational. However, I tend not to go near windows in high buildings. Roller coasters tend to bother me, as well as cliffs... any large drop over a few stories.

I used to clean windows for a living and have to hang from the sides of buildings while sitting in swiss seat. I had a moderate fear of heights, but I managed to contain it.

Not really. $10 per hour. I used my off time to learn computer and networking skills to get a better job. Now I am a IT manager and make much better without the stress.
