isn't that cool (and dorkie ;p) that you can email, print, scan, fax everything when you are on the go?

recently my company held a meeting in an off-site location. I was the courier peon to run back and forth between the meeting site and office. I find that it would have been immensely useful had I have internet, scanner, and printer at my finger tips.

everyone has a laptop, now how about "anywhere" internet?

I know Sprint and Verizon offer such service that.

and for scanner, this is what I've looking at

and how about printer, that's the something I never looked into

any opinion?

I had EV DO through Alltel, $25 bucks/month for unlimited data minutes.

no Alltel in LA (well, I've seen their TV ad, but never a real retail outlet)

I picked up the card off ebay for $50 or so. It is 3G/HSDPA.

For service I use the Media Max 200 plan with unlimited data for $20/month.

we have 2 at work. 50pages scanned per minute approx

that's amazing speed. at work we have a cheapie Ast-tech (mispell) feeder one, it sucked after 1 year, kept on jamming.

but 700 bucks?! hehe, I was expecting to pay a little less.

yeah its' pretty ridiculously expensive. but it's damn impressive. has the same scan speed as our 25k canon copier.
