usually... you bet low but double down on all losses... that way you can recover all your cash when you finally win a hand.

other than that... dunno what to tell you bro :/

you try counting cards?

xyyz, what you just described is the massengale technique, and let me warn anyone out there who's reading this, DON'T DO IT!

It's a plain silly technique, and you could easily lose all your money that way. You may be saying to yourself, well I can't lose 8 or 10 hands in a row, well, YOU CAN! You'll either run out of money or hit the table limit using that betting strategy.

If you're a card counter, you'll want to use the Kelley system of betting. It's also applicable to the stock market, for it's a mathematical function of the proper amount to risk given the odds.

assuming you don't count cards, the only way you can win in blackjack is by luck. wagering systems each have their drawbacks, which is usually small gains and large (and infrequent) losses, or something along those lines. Basically, wagering systems all average out so that it's the same as though you just bet the same amount each time. the martingale system will keep you winning for a while, but if you hit a long losing streak, you're screwed big time. I play a lot of BJ (and blackjack too) and the only way to win is by luck, or if they give you promotional money ;)
