I graduated from undergrad back in 2006 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from a top school. Been working in industry ever since then. Spent 2 years doing production engineering, then 2 years doing field testing of armored vehicles (that was bad ass BTW).
Ever since graduating I've felt like I wasn't really done with school. The jobs I've had have been cool, but my inner nerd doesn't feel like I use my brain enough. During my undergrad days I always enjoyed my engineering materials classes, and now I'm thinking about going for a MS in Materials Science with a concentration in advanced structural materials at a top 3 school (only local school).
Has anyone here done something like this? I'm a bit worried not having had hard math and science classes for 4 years is going to be a big issue.
