I met this Polish chick at the Staples on Broadway and Vesey not too long ago. We became good friends. She's a masseuse and she's very flirtatious but we never took it too far. One day she invited me to where she works so I can get a free massage. I had to put on a robe. Apparently, when you're getting a massage, the lights are dimmed and Kenny G's Songbird plays. Being that I was on lunch I immediately started to fall asleep but my dick woke up and stayed up. I could not lie on my stomach and it was only hidden by the robe. I got no play from her even though, when I awoke, I stared straight at her. Nothing. She just ignored it. The only reason I can think of is that there may be cameras in the rooms. Or she's used to it. But even if there aren't any cameras, how are guys expected to relax in such a setting without getting aroused? It was my first time getting a massage and it was very foreplay-ish. Getting massaged by a guy is a non-starter so how are men supposed to behave? My friend, who lives near the Poconos, says he gets a massage from some parlour there that offers happy endings but why spend so much if that's all you're going to get?

The tales of your life are rather ridiculous and unbelievable at times.

I think you should strap a GoPro to your head and stream your life, with ads of course.

I think if a chick is massaging a guy, she expects for him to get an erection. They probably see it all the time.

I get a massage a few times a year, and yeah, things can pop up when you're relaxed.

I think you're young though and don't know how to separate intimacy and relaxing yet. A masseuse that offers handys at the end is not a masseuse, she's a prostitute.

I thought you were married? What the hell are you doing perusing friendships with other women?

On top of that she is a masseuse.

Sounds like you have issues at home with your wife you need to work on.

Entire massage thing is weird to me. I don't want someone rubbing on me and shit (I don't really care if it's the hottest woman on this planet). That is not my idea of "relaxing" or being comfortable AT ALL.

I've gotten a few and there is no way I'd get a massage by a dude either.

I got one from a dude a few months back---and I didn't know it was going to be a guy until I was at the office. I kept thinking of that Senfield episode where George got a massage from a guy and walked away looking like he was raped :D

Truthfully though, it was one of the best massages I've ever had. He used some kind of warm bamboo sticks to isolate muscles in my back and legs. I think he even fixed a pinched nerve that was bothering me when I did pull-ups.

Every massage I have received they use a sheet and heavy blanket so things don't pop up. Also never had barfy smooth jazz.

Yeah, I always have Japanese music or ocean sounds :D I hate when they play rain because it makes me have to pee.

they're probably used to it, and your puritan culture is showing maybe, associating nudity or physical contact with sexuality (hence all the "no homo" stuff which I have never heard outside of the US-dominated internet).

I don't care for massages (maybe I'm autistic or something but nowhere close to Vdub, I can understand why people like them, but for me it's a waste of productive time, I relax by watching serials), but I don't see the mental block at getting one from a male.

Oh and to start a flame war here, massages are only temporary fixes. If your back hurts, you have to change why your back hurts, not pay $150 every so often to knead it away.

My girlfriend is a massage therapist (masseuse is becoming a big no-no term in the industry because of some of the prostitution connotations that it brings). They're definitely used to it, it happens quite a bit, and is no big deal.

But what about muscle massages, that relax the muscle so you can still give a 100% on the next day, after a grueling run/ride?

Also, I'd not mind getting massaged by a guy. Probably stronger and thus more capable of squeezing. But I guess I'm not thinking of the same kind of massages, that OP was talking about...

No issues. It was offered and I took up on it. I didn't pay for it and she kept it strictly professional. I'm just wondering, considering how embarrassing it can be for guys, how they can relax without getting a hard-on...
