This dealership has several touring models on the lot. Call around and give the dealership a serious offer. If they don't accept then you can ask them what they want.

Also call dealerships with a 100 mile radius and see if any one likes your offer. If so then you can use that to pressure your local place or simply do the whole deal over the phone...

"I want a 350z touring addition with no options for 32K"
"sounds great, come on down and fill out the paper work"
"I want a red one. Get me a red 350z touring and I'll come pick it up and sign the papers"

so on so forth. Once the dealer has bitten on your offer you can ask for anything you want. Make sure you stress "This is very easy...Do you want to sell a car today? If so then you'll accept my offer. I'm not going to dick around I just want to buy a car. Do you want to sell a car?"

:D this makes me want to go out and just finance the car... :) i was just surveying how the market looks like right now... i intend to pay the car in full so that means i have at least 1/3 of the car to save up for still :(... i just needed a starting point as to how low i could actually go... but thanks... i'll keep those points in mind... :) but dealers around my area are notorious for the bait and switch method... :( in a few months i'll probably have more choices... hopefully. :D

spidey's deal seems to be *highly* out of the ordinary. Look at any of the 350Z forums; no one is getting that good of a deal. I went through every dealer in my region, and only a few were willing to negotiate with me at all. I did the same thing as spidey too: I told them my offer, and if they said no, I walked. A few of them called me back and took my offer, so I accepted.

If spidey does indeed get that deal, then that is exceptional, imo. If you get a similar deal, then I hate you both :D

Could possibly be because they had so many on the lot?

The wait is killing me, but it will be worth it :D

I saw one the other day in that blue color. Looked hot.

Also seen a few of the infinity sedan versions, don't much like the tail end in person, otherwise, nice looking cars. Exhaust sounds a bit off though, too tinny/ricey for me. Don't think it's aftermarket, but, who knows... only heard the one while I was walking into the grocery store and he was pulling out.

Nice cars, njoy.

Probably. The first dealer I went to pushed the touring they had on the lot so hard I decided to go to another dealer. The touring had everything + nav. I think the MSRP was like $37k. They pushed me to make an offer, so I said.... "$33k." They almost kicked me out of the showroom :)

the stock 350Z vs stock WRX non STI, 350 KILLS!
if the 350Z had an "STI"ish model it would own.

The 350Z pulls almost the same numbers as the non-STi WRX. The 2 are almost the same performancewise. The STi will absolutely rape a 350Z.
The 350Z looks better, but the WRX is more practical as an everyday car.

That's strange. I haven't seen that stated anywhere or in any review or test. :)

There is much more to a sports car than horsepower.

I know, that's why the STi will rape the Z :)
You can check European reviews of the STi

If you read their website, each model has slightly different things tuned to what the model name is. I think "Touring" is the 5-spd automatic version, "Enthusiast" is the luxury version, "Performance" is faster, and "track" has handling... don't quote me on that but I recall reading something like that off their site.

How do you get a faster model when only one engine is offered on all of them, with no modifications to that engine.
With handling, yes with struts and springs.

I think it's more like different options and equipment, i.e. stiffer springs, brembos, nav, etc.

The only reason i like the Touring is because of the leather seats... if i'm paying over 30k for a car it better have leather seats... :D

Sadly enough $33k is the only price i'm willing to part with... :(

Per Car and Driver, a stock 350Z does 14.3 in the 1/4 while a stock non-STI WRX does 14.5
Road and Track says 14.0 to 14.4
Not exactly a killing difference. And from a practicality standpoint, the WRX wins hands-down.

Sorry everyone just spoke to my bro, and in fact he paid MSRP, no more no less.
