I remember it getting lower than -20 a couple of times when I lived in the area. Doesn't happen often, but it DOES happen. IIRC, the Tri-Cities usually doesn't get a LOT of snow, but it DOES snow. Coming from Fresburg, you'll feel right at home there...well, except for the cold, the snow, the lack of things to do...but the hunting & fishing is pretty damn good if you're into that.

My wife checked to make sure they had a Walmart nearby.... doesn't seem like a whole lot of other stuff there though.

Other than that, there are plenty of decent places to eat, but you're right, not much to do, unless you find it.


Keep in mind, you are an hour away from Yakima, an about 1.5 hours from spokane, as well as, Seattle can be reached, and home, in one long day.
