Anyone here ever take Avelox for Sinus Trouble?

Probably an overkill. I'm presuming this is for chronic bacterial sinusitis. For that, and for other indications, i'd prefer a beta-lactam antibiotic like amoxicillin (or Augmentin).

MD.

Tried Augmentin no luck still have the cough and stiffy nose. Started out with Pnuemonia getting better but still feeling very tired and fatigued. Along with a cough that goes on all the time.

Agreed. Avelox (Moxifloxacin) is usually not used unless the benefits outweigh the risks, which include renal, hepatic, and hematopoietic function impairment, superinfections, and ventricular arrhythmias.

You may still be on the recovery phase.....if you still have a pneumonia going on, you'd be pretty sick. Unless you've been diagnosed with sinusitis, i'd really not recommend further antibiotic treatment. Maybe you need some symptomatic stuff. Have your doctor examine you!

Good luck!
